Time for a New Action Star !!!
Jessica was born in Nambour, Queensland and has grown up on many rural and outback properties in the Australian bush. Her father is Australian and a bricklayer and her mother migrated from Scotland as a child. She is the eldest of three children, her younger brother works in construction and her sister is a gifted painter.
She spent her early childhood years in the remote cattle districts in towns such as Proston and Kingaroy, then completed primary school in Gympie in the state of Queensland. Jessica then grew up as a teenager in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales and has lived in such places as Batlow and the surrounding townships of Adelong, Adaminaby and Tumut. She attended high school at Tumut State High before settling into the wine growing district of the "granite belt" in Stanthorpe Queensland where she completed her secondary education.
Jessica excelled as an athlete as a child winning numerous trophies and awards as age champion of her year and various district awards for cross country and high jump. An intelligent yet very shy student it was drama class were she eventually found her place. Her comedy routines, talent for improvisation, theatre and accents showed a natural and gifted ability, scoring countless A + results in her senior years. She then went on to successfully complete three years business studies at Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE.
Jessica also found an interest in community and charity work volunteering as a youth supervisor with the Police Blue Light Organisation, further to this she spent two years volunteering with the St John's Ambulance Service, Queensland State Emergency Services and represented her community in the Queensland RSL Girl in a Million Quest, raising money for returned servicemen. Jessica could no longer find anymore opportunity in small country towns and then relocated to Sydney at twenty-two.
Jessica's has a great love for animals and has also worked for the RSPCA for three years rehabilitating and rehoming the cruelty case dogs and cats. She completed her traineeship and was then awarded a scholarship with the Australian Institute of Fitness and is currently competing her Master Trainer qualifications.
At present she has established herself as a rising star in Australia and is pursuing her talent for film and television along with her passion for sports. Jessica aims to become an action star and can see herself working internationally long-term whilst remaining focussed on her charity and community achievements. She has worked hard to make a name for herself and has overcome many challenges in the industry by being different. Jessica strongly believes that it is this difference that will see her eventually transpire into becoming the world's greatest female action star.
Her childhood idol is Jean Claude Van Damme whilst also admiring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jennifer Hawkins, Maria Shriver and Oprah.
